instruction on how to use the Velcro pads How to Use

Our reliable female pads are available in four different sizes- suitable to every possible need! Our small size is fitting the "light flow" and also for young women, all the way to our XL night size, a size that does not exist anywhere else but here, and it is long enough to protect the back at nighttime.

An organic health product that will last for many years. All our pads are made of un dyed, unbleached, organically grown cotton cloth!

The pads are hand made from 100% certified organically grown cotton. The pad with the VELCRO® brand hook lining goes on bottom and should be placed nearest to the underwear. You would then put the thicker pad on top of it. This second pad is what will be changed throughout the day. In my experience, I found the best way to use the pads is by using Couple of pads at a time, this way you replace the top one and still have more to keep you going. In addition, when using two pads at a time, it seems to hold the pads in place, and that eliminate the additional protection that other Pad-Makers offers. The VELCRO® brand hook pad been created to help hold the pad in place.

I have notice that it really depend on the kind of underwear you will be using at a time. Some times, I will not need to use the VELCRO® brand hook pad, and other times it is mandatory to have. These pads ( without VELCRO® ) can also be used in conjunction with your commercial pad, as a buffer between the commercial pad and your body. The pads can be either machine or hand washed. They are neutral color, reusable, safe, economical, and will last for many years. The pads are also very practical for every day use for middle-aged women who may need additional protection

These pads are all hand made.Sizes and cuts may vary slightly as a result.

The large and XL pads are partly made with color-grown fabric (the fabric is left with its own natural color which is light brown) so they may fade over time. Washing with baking soda and/or vinegar may help to restore the natural color-grown hue.

Washing Instructions:

During menstruation time, soak the used pads in a small bucket of cold water (must be cold!) until you have enough pads ready to be washed. (You can use the soaking water as a fertilizer for your garden. Simply dilute with water and pour around your plants.) After disregarding the old soaking water, soak the pads again, for about half an hour, in a solution of one scoop of Oxiclean (dissolved in hot water) and water (make sure the pads are covered with the water). Do not use any bleach (unless you want to). Your pads are now ready to be washed and dried with your whites. To prevent the VELCRO® brand hook pads from sticking to other clothing in the dryer, stick few pre-cut pieces of the VELCRO® brand hook’s female part (the soft side) to the VELCRO® brand hook on the pads. Then remove it after drying the pads. After drying, you will notice some loose threads. Do not pull them out, just cut them off with scissors. As with any cotton fabric, you will notice shrinking (about 5%) if they are dried on a hot temperature.
